The top seven finalists in the Second Annual Silicon Valley StartUp Cup Business Model Competition have made their final pitches to the StartUp Cup judges and it is time to learn which three entrepreneurs will be named the top winners in this seven month competition.

Cranium Shield – Justin Wright, Lam Dinh, Ross Holman and Brian Knott
Cranium Shield provides radiation protection devices for the heads of doctors and patients exposed to ionizing radiation from medical imaging devices, such as x-ray, CT, and mammogram machines. Cranium Shields have been field tested at Stanford Hospital and the team has received idea validation from industry professionals, including practicing radiologists and dentists. Over the past few months, Silicon Valley Business Plan Competition (SVBPC) funding the team received has allowed the team to focus on product development, while the Silicon Valley StartUp Cup has been an influential source of business development guidance.
