Bruce JM Knopf, Director Asset and Economic Development, County of Santa Clara
Bruce is responsible for implementing the County’s program for regional economic development. The County collaborates with the 15 cities located within its boundaries for mutually beneficial economic development activities, as well as with other entities such as Joint Venture Silicon Valley Network, the Silicon Valley Leadership Group, and with educational and nonprofit institutions.
Bruce is also responsible for County asset development, such as the lease or sale of surplus County land for commercial or residential development for the purpose of generating new revenues for the County.
Kevin McClelland, Owner, Leeward Financial and Insurance Services
Kevin is a financial planner and business consultant. He specializes in Financial Independence, Financial Planning, Wealth Management, Real Estate Investments, Business Consulting, and Long Term Care. Kevin is on the Board of Directors for the Cupertino Chamber of Commerce. In February Kevin received the Business Advocate of the Year Award from the Silicon Valley Chamber of Commerce, for helping Cupertino to approve the planned Apple construction and for his work with restaurant health inspection regulations.
He was an Executive General Manager for TGI Fridays for 20 years. Kevin managed single and multi units and was involved in purchasing and service contracts. He set up programs for Manager/Employee hiring development and established operation standards, building sales, and retaining customers, employees and managers.
Nancy McKereghan, Co-Founder and CEO, Tangerine+
Nancy, co-founder of Tangerine+, brings 25+ years of management experience in Marketing, Operations, and Engineering for start-up and Fortune 500 firms. Her expertise is in achieving customer objectives through requirements collection and effective communication. She has managed teams with strategic partners such as Motorola, IBM and Tokyo Electron.
Most recently, Nancy was a member of the management team of Fat Spaniel Technologies, a leading provider of renewable energy performance monitoring services, where she served as Director of Professional Services, defining and delivering custom software solutions ranging from small commercial applications to programs for educational and civic foundations.
Kris Stadelman, Executive Director of the NOVA Investment Board in Silicon Valley
Ms. Stadelman has been a leader in Workforce Development for three decades in four states. She is currently the Executive Director of the NOVA Workforce Investment Board in the Silicon Valley, California; previous CEO of the Workforce Development Council of Seattle-King County, Washington; has held leadership positions in statewide programs in Colorado for the Governor’s Office as well as the State AFL-CIO; and directed employment and training programs for Community Action in Appalachian Ohio.
She is the past Chair for the California Workforce Association, former Chair for the Workforce Development Council of the US Conference of Mayors and was voted Executive Director of the Year by the National Workforce Association in 2007. The Silicon Valley Business Journal listed Ms. Stadelman as a “Woman of Influence” in 2013.
Tressa Williams, Owner/agent, The Williams State Farm Agency
Tressa is the owner/agent of The Williams State Farm Agency in Santa Clara. She has built an award winning multi-line insurance and financial services agency focused on helping businesses, families and individuals manage the risk of everyday life and recover from the unexpected. Her area of expertise is in financial protection and planning.
Prior to owning her agency she worked for 20 years inside of State Farm in management and as a business consultant. She graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a degree in Communications, with an emphasis in Radio TV and Film. Williams is an active supporter of the local community, being a four-year sponsor of Santa Clara University’s back-to-school fair, sponsor and donor to Buchser Middle School music department, member of Santa Clara Rotary.
She has been awarded the Freedom Fighters award from the Silicon Valley/San Jose NAACP, the Women of Advocacy award from NCBW, and the Santa Clara County Kwanzaa – Seven Principles Award for Community Service, for her work in the community. She loves networking, social media and leadership development.
